Speaking of which, anyone seen Loveless? It's one of those shounen-ai's with typical bishounen (with cat ears! Zomg!), a bit of fighting and a long-lost, possibly dead, maybe hiding, older brother; with the obligatory evil organisation.

Well... I often can empathize with the tomboy :P
I've never been a fan of shonen-ai, which is odd. I've always prefered shojo-ai... Funny, because most other girls I know go crazy over shonen-ai.
Do you know of any animes that would suit what I'm looking for by the way?

Taurucis, not a clue, but I can pass the question on to my boyfriend and see if he knows. Only problem is whether or not you believe in pirating and fan-subs. There's always Fruits Basket and Cardcaptor Sakura (original Japanese version), but I don't know how you'd feel about those (as you get older, all the innocence seems to turn into dirty innuendo).

Yeah, that's what I've noticed - Seinen tends to be either incredibly dirty, or ridiculously violent. Perhaps something geared towards the 13-17 demographic, I guess.

Not changing the subject or anything but does anyone else who watches Naruto Shippuden getting fairly pissed off with how agonisingly slow the story is progressing?
Also watched Porco Rosso today, was a pretty good film Anyone else seen it?

The problem with anime that's coming from a manga that's still being written is that the occasionally get 'to close' to where the story currently is and so through in filler, or slow the pace (*glares at Bleach*). I haven't watched Naruto in a bit, but Xanth regailed me with the woes of the recent double episode released:
There was no big fight! About an hour long episode, but didn't include the Orichimaru/Naruto bridge fight.

Alright, I know this seems to be another shameless bump on me, but I could really use those recommendations. (I'm starting to sound like the Mage's Guild in Oblivion...) I've asked on 3 different forums. The first one flamed me, the second one ignored me, and the third is kind of dead. This is pretty much the last one I'd care to ask on.

Ta -da! Found a website, with forums, that specialises in shoujo-ai:http://www.shoujoai.com/forum/board_show.pl?bid=2
Also, check out Tokyo Tosho, for downloads, and just in general Google for anime forums (but don't ask questions, the answers could be iffy), or fanfictions. Gotta Love fanfictions.
Yeah, my boyfriend recommened Google (*slight glare*), but Tokyo Tosho is a torrent hosting site that provides a wide variety of anime/stuffs. It may have what you're lookinf for
Sorry I couldn't really be of more help.

Thanks for the link it helped with a third of what I'm looking for.
Do you know a listing of shojo anime that has descriptions of the anime as well?

Well, yuricon.org seems to have a list of lesbians in anime, but that's a bit 'out there'. Also AniDB.net will have a brief over-view of the series, and an episode list; you may need to know the name of an anime to find it, but they also have quite a nice search facility.

That was a very dissapointing episode imo. I'm all for the occasional talking which moves the plot along but the whole hour long episode dedicated to Naruto powering up was a failure.

So, out of curiosity, how many people torrent/download/stream anime rather than buying a hard-copy? You can also include whether you do this before the anime is released or not, or if you get the first episode to watch in this manner before buying the series.
I myself don't buy anime that often, nor do I torrent; I don't watch it enough to justify either (my hard-drive is kind of small and I don't have a lot of DVD's lying around either).

I buy a lot of anime mostly because I like hearing it in english. So I'm not a purist despite my collection. If I really like a series, I'll watch it in japanese once or twice at a later date.
Some of my favorites are:
Tenchi
Love Hina
Bubblegum Crisis 2040
Most of the BeeTrain stuff
Both seasons of GITS
Samurai 7
Excel Saga
Cromartie Highschool
And most of the characters voiced by Hillary Haag and Monica Rial.

Bleach is OK, IMO. My problem with it is that it's quite similar to DBZ in the sense that once you get passed the beginning there are a lot of filler episodes which makes me want to rip my hair out.
The ones I like most would have to be...
Trigun
Full Metal Alchemist (I still need to see the movie! >.<)
Wolf's Reign
Death Note
Escaflowne (especially the movie)
Cowboy Bebop
And of course everyone loves Evangelion! Except the last few episodes... I hear they're supposedly remaking the series though.
I also thought FLCL was quite good although I had trouble understanding WTF was going on half the time.

What your anime?
**Viewer Discretion Adviced**
Alright, because this was a decade ago that I liked anime at some degree I recall this being at that time my favorite series. (called : Shuffle!)
However today on Youtube I saw a ''Recommended Link'' and be damned it was actually an intro song from the Anime which back then I thought was my favorite story and charracter-wise. (/cough, a Harem Anime)
Because I haven't watched any Anime since I finished that series many years ago, I thought i'd make a post here for that Intro Song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwIqQeAj81I
What was yours? (if you had any)
Peace.

Which ones are your favorite? What's the last one you've seen or read? Current one?
Ghost in the Shell is one of my all-time favorites and I was ecstatic when i heard that there will be a live action movie. I was expecting them to get an Asian actress though if not Japanese but they got Scarlett Johansson. I like ScarJo and all (her body's amazing though I think she might have had plastic surgery) but it would've been better if they got someone Asian.
